I started restoration of a 1968 Austin Mini Cooper in 2014 just prior to moving from Canada to Rogers, Arkansas. A co-worker of mine at the time recommended Neil Crozier and NWA Car Clinic to me. He had entrusted his Range Rover to Neil's care and highly recommended Neil and his team for the quality of their service, the reasonable pricing, and more importantly the honesty and clarity of communication. Fast forward to September, 2019 and my restoration was finally completed, my car was delivered to me, and I wanted to establish a relationship with someone who could take care of a 50 year old, newly restored car. Neil's business card - which had been sitting on my desk at work since early 2015 - quickly got me in touch with NWA Car Clinic. Although the car was newly restored, I took it to Neil so that he could establish a service baseline and to have him address a concern I had with the fueling set up. A full inspection was conducted and Neil pointed out a few minor things that needed correction even in a newly restored car. He addressed the fuel pump issue I was having, but more importantly, his valuable feedback and advice established a level of mutual trust. I was prepared to entrust care of my car to Neil as he clearly demonstrated a keen understanding not just of modern automotive technology, but vintage technology as well. As with any restoration, teething troubles did emerge in the first 500 miles I put on the car. I surprisingly encountered a head gasket issue early on. Neil performed a full inspection of the engine, clearly identified the problem (the head gasket failure), explained the potential causes of this failure, and we discussed and agreed on a strategy for repairing the head gasket and monitoring the Cooper to validate the fix and prevent a re-occurrence. I suspect that others would have suggested that a full engine re-build was required, but Neil put together a plan that minimized costs, but enables to both monitor performance over the next 500 miles to determine if further work is required. This is a sure sign of Neil's professionalism and customer commitment. He puts the customer first. The front office staff is amazing. They don't just check you in and check you out. Bambi takes as much interest in the customer vehicles as Neil does. She has done great work in locating consumables (e.g., bulbs, filters, etc.) that fit my car and has saved me considerable time and effort tracking these down. She does a great job of tracking progress on the vehicles in Car Clinic's care and is able to provide updates whenever I call. I highly recommend NWA Car Clinic and Neil and Bambi Crozier to any car owner - vintage or otherwise - as you will get top quality service, expert advice, honest and clear communication, and great value.

I am not a person that normally provides recommendations for local service providers because I hate to put my name (positive experience) out there and have a friend/neighbor not have that SAME experience. However, I wanted to highly recommend NWA Car Clinic in Lowell, AR. *** Please bear with me when reading this review because it is more of a story with a happy ending…*** Over the past year, I have noticed a few more Land Rover/Range Rover owners in the NWA area. Like you, getting normal service and/or repair is a pain in the butt since you normally need to go to Tulsa… the closest dealership. In the past, I have used an “Import” garage in Springdale and was happy… for the most part. Unfortunately, a few months ago there was a management change and all of a sudden I felt like I was being taken advantage of… unnecessary repairs, etc. During my last repair at this garage, the Service Manager told me I needed a Timing Chain repair (big $$$), but I told them that same service was already done in 2017. He back tracked a bit and still told me another/similar repair was needed and sadly I paid for it. After 3 weeks, I picked up my RR at the garage and the original issue was fixed, but, now I had a “check engine” light. The Service Manager walked me thru this particular issue and told me the engine was full of “oil sludge” he thought the valves were sticking and there was no way to fix it without rebuilding the engine or buying a new/reman. engine. This would cost anywhere from $7,000 -$12,000. At that point, I just asked for my keys and told them I did not trust them and would take my business somewhere else I spent over a month researching the issue and possible root causes as well as other local repair shops. After extensive “Googling” I found NWA Car Clinic. I read many of the positive reviews online and decided to stop by to “interview” the shop versus just calling. Equipped with what I thought the issue and fix was, we discussed the current problems with my RR. They listened to everything I had to say and asked for the history of recent repairs or any other symptoms. I felt comfortable enough with their capabilities and asked them to run a full diagnostic and let me know what they find. I would decide what to do next! A few hours later they called and told me the error codes identified… and, they were the same ones that I had found via Online forums… VVT solenoid. (I did not share the error codes previously!!) At that point, they provided a defined path forward to fix the issue… starting with least expensive. They wanted to do an engine flush/cleaning, take off/clean the bank 2 solenoid and then a detailed oil change. They called me the following day with GOOD NEWS. The engine flush products they used loosened all the sludge in the engine and by cleaning the solenoids all of the issues/errors were fixed. And, the engine runs so much better/smoother than before! The total expense for this repair was next to nothing when compared to a new engine… NWA Car Clinic saved me ~$10K if I would have followed the other “Import” garage’s recommendation I am hoping that anyone that owns an import automobile will read this recommendation and stop by and find out more about this family owned business. If you own an Audi, Land Rover/Jag, Lexus, Volkswagen, etc. in some cases (repairs under warranty) traveling to Tulsa makes sense… and, you can make it a day trip and visit Trader Joes :) However, for simple stuff, NWA Car Clinic is a great Import garage… and, they can also fix MB, BMW and all domestic autos cheaper than the Dealerships
